As you may have noticed, this site has coding different from gaia. While it still uses some bbcode, it's codes are completely different. There are pros and cons to this. This guide will help you note the differences, how to format your posts, and other helpful tips to help you adjust to the new system. if you need any help I am happy to help,. As always, I am willing to help you out with graphics and formats.
Changes
font sizes - have changed - best to use the drop down menu or point sizes now 1-7 ,(8-40 pt)
[ strike ] is now [ s ]

- [ size = ] still works but you must use 1 - 7 instead of the way Gaia sized their text. otherwise, you'll get font sizes that are way too huge...
[ strike ] is now [ s ]

- img converts to [ img src " " ] - the link goes within the quotations
BBCODE & Preview
- These buttons at the bottom of your posts show two different styles to formatting your posts
- BBCODE - Shows the coding of your post
- Preview - Shows what your post will look like once its posted ( most of the time). You can bold text, change fonts and do other things. This area works as a word processor for your post.
codes and features that no longer work
- tab no longer works, but if you go to preview at the bottom on your posts you can hit the tab key!
- ctrl+z does not act as expected-- use with caution.
- selecting and dragging text will open a menu that wants you to drag files there. while it is a neat feaure
it can be very inconvenient - img left is completely useless now - have not found a decent alternative - use horizontal and verticals only

helpful hints
if you want your text to be centered use a div style :
- [ div style =" width:550px;margin:auto;padding:50px 50px 0px; " ]
*freely adjust the width to your liking, but padding must stay the same if you want it to remained centered. It is possible to remove the padding if you want your text at a set width , but not centered.
